Refresh Your Old Picture Frame Using Metallics

It is said that picture frames depict the aesthetic sense of the people living in a house and also define the personality of the house. The type of art that you display will describe your creativity.

Matching the kind of picture frame can be a hassle for some, but it’s quite easy if you’re up for the challenge. Let me teach you how you can match and refresh your old picture frame with the help of your imagination and a jar of paint.

Let's turn your imagination into furniture art!

The Products that I used are as follows:

Step 1Remove all of the parts from the picture frame.

Step 2 – Paint base color on the parts and let it dry. I used Hurricane Gray as my base color on the picture frame and used French linen on the inner parts.

Part 3 - Paint Metallic Paint over the picture frame and let it dry. I basically did a drybrush, but maybe a little heavier than a typical drybrush.

Part 4 (optional) – Use a transfer on the picture frame glass.
